Greenwich Police say they responded to the area of Chestnut Street and Delavan Avenue in Byram on the report of a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, May 19 around 2:45 a.m.
Further investigation revealed that the driver of the offending vehicle, identified as Oscar Munoz, 33, was displaying signs of impairment, according to police.
Munoz was then asked to participate in a series of field sobriety tests, which police say he did not perform to standard.
Munoz was arrested and charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle and failure to drive in the proper lane. He was released after posting $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Monday, June 3.
